Academic Scholarships Available for AHA College Students
College-bound high school seniors and adult college students residing with the Athens Housing Authority are eligible to apply for several scholarships with housing authority affiliated or community organizations.

The Georgia Association for Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (GAHRA) provides a number of scholarships for both graduating high school seniors and non-traditional students.  Deadline for these scholarships is March 10, 2016

Non-traditional students, returning college students and graduating high school seniors may apply for the ICC/Louise Cameron Scholarship.  The application deadline is April 27, 2016.

Graduating high school seniors and returning college students are eligible to apply for the AHA Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship Program.  Deadline for this scholarship is April 29, 2016.

The Housing Authority Insurance (HAI) Group also provides scholarships for non-traditional students, returning college students and graduating seniors across the nation.  Information and an application are available at www.housingcenter.com /scholarship.  The deadline for submitting an application is April 30, 2016.

The Peach State Federal Credit Union also provides scholarships to local traditional and non-traditional college students.  See www.peachstatefcu.net/services/scholarships.php for eligibility and application information.
